现在的中国不同以往，出国留学不再成为特权阶级的专利，越来越多的普通人有了更多选择的权力。教育已成为了一种投资，出国留学更多的是作为丰富生活阅历增加就业砝码的途径。所以留学顾问其实也就是投资顾问，只是这种投资的对象是一个人的生活与前途。所以如果成为一位留学顾问，必须要考虑到的就有：
1 与顾客多在生活中接触，了解他们的兴趣爱好，个人志向及性格特长，特别要发现他们对留学后的自我与其当前状态的距离。

The ultimate goal of overseas study lies in the prosperity of the individal’s future career,and therefore except making a rational plan for academic study while abroad ,the individual is supposed to mapping out a rational plan for his career while returning home .The situation of job market in China is that enterprises want to recruit talents who could bring profit as soon as possible ,that well-educated talents returning from overseas with working experience draw a great deal of attention from enterprises offering a condiderable amount of salary ,and that difficulties in hunting a job and vacant positions co-exiist .However ,according to statistics provided by Ministry of Education ,60%of students seeking of overseas study are college graduates hoping to evade the temporary obstacles in finding jobs as well as make their resumes look good .And therefore after finishing overseas study ,although these students are familiar with foreign culture ,technology ,management ,and other aspects ,they remain in the dark about relevent situation in the mothrland .As I have already stated ,working experience plays an important role in job-hunting ,and therefore ,any one without working experience should start from the lower position in a company .Nevertheless ,it must be admitted that the experience of overseas study exercises a positive influence on the individual’s life and career ,for he could not only accumulate the hand-on experience in interactig with foreigners but also be more or less melted into the foreign culture.In line with the current situation ,seeking for rational overeas study appears significant .Accoding to me ,people seeking for overseas study should not follow suit of the majority ,instead ,they should select majors and schools after taking their interests ,abilities and aptitude into conideration .As far as people wishing for a breakthrough in their career are concerned .they should select rmajors relevent to their current work .In a word ,while the individual takes overseas study ,he should connect his future study with his future career.

出国留学要考虑的几个重要因素包括：国家、学校以及专业的选择。首先要明白出国留学的目的是什么，以及各个目的重要程度；明白了这些问题之后，在国家、学校以及专业的选择过程中时时应从最终的目的出发来检验各选项是不是最佳。最终还要将不同的组合进行综合比较，选出最适合自己的留学之路。
总之，在决定要不要出国、到哪里、上什么学校、选什么专业等等这些问题上，切忌盲目，自始至终都要有计划，以最终目的为导向。

我所认为的理性留学就是对留学这一人生重大事件的理性思考。现在越来越多的人倾向于出国镀金，认为外来的和尚会念经，出国回来一切都会变得很好了。我觉得这些人把事情想得太过简单了，可能只是对国内严峻的就业形势的逃避。留学是不是真的就会更好这要从多方面来考虑。首先，必须考虑所学的专业。诚然国外的研究水平高，经费足，在很多方面都远远优于国内。但是大部分不能代表所有，有些专业还是国内的好或者本科生就要优于硕士生，如文史类的。其次要考虑经济承受能力。有些人为了出国变卖家产，花光了父母所有的积蓄。出去以后又得面对艰苦的生存环境，忙着打工赚钱根本就没有时间去学习。
另外，现在的“海归”已经明显失去了之前的光环，大多数用人公司在招聘时不会给“海归”加太多的分。大部分人出国目的是为了回国后好找工作，这时候就得考虑花大代价出国到底值不值得了。

我认为的理性留学应该从以下几点描述：
1，要明确为什么留学。留学是一种高资本的风险投资。抱着很大的希望，投资很多资金，去国外，不一定就真的能让自己的身价镀金。
2，要选择与自己经济状况相适应的国家。英美是很多留学生的首选地。但其留学成本也是比较高昂的。在经济条件限制的情况下，可以考虑其他国家。如法国，相对成本低，并且能多接触一门外语也未尝不是好事。
3，要明确去哪留学。选择的学校应该是可被认可的，和自己已有的知识相衔接的专业是最好的选择。
4，要明确自己留学后要在哪。如果是想回国，必须要清楚自己所学的东西是否被国内认可在国内适用。如果是想留国外，那要需要考虑的就是那个国家对外来人口的接受程度。

People study abroad for various reasons. No matter what their motivations are, the final outcome of studying abroad is a major factor for deciding whether or not it is rational. But since nobody can predict the future, the standard for measuring an oversea experience may depend on the elements below.
First of all, the evaluation of the price you pay and the anticipated benefits you may probably gain. This is vital, especially for an average household. Second, whether the person suits the environment of a foreign country, whether he can play his potential in such conditions. People the outcome of their actions, and only if they are in a right position can they get the ideal result.
Except these factors mentioned above, I think it will be unthinking to discuss rational studying abroad without adding the family's economic position. All parents hope that their children have a nice future and a lot of them think that send their children abroad to study is a best way. But one thing they must keep in mind is that not all things can work out just as they imagine. So when they make a decision of studying abroad, think through. People are more focus on the rational studying abroad nowadays; followings are some sort of my views about this problem.
I think people should aware of three points. At first know yourself and what your most wanted objectively, I think this is the foremost and fundamental point. You have to find the advantages and disadvantages of yourself enough before going abroad. Second learn the studying abroad market adequately. You may be confused by tens of the countries and hundreds of the projects in the market. You should choose the right country and project according to the information you know and your wish after having a clear recognition of yourself and the market. I think you should take account of the facts such as costs, school reputation, school location, immigration policy and the employment of prospect. Through the comparison sincerely, you finally can nail the project that suits you best. Last but not the least is to have the good mind. In my opinion it is the most important one. We look the studying abroad in a perspective way. First it is a process of studying that accumulates knowledge by hard working and sweat, you can’t waste your parents money and your own time if you just want to have a new environment or a more excite life. Second it is an investment, which features the risk and the long term return, last it is an opportunity as well as an experience. An opportunity can change your whole life. An experience as a photo that can never fade in your life album.

回归理性留学
